Sund & Bælt’s six-storey administration building has for many years been equipped with DAMPA metal ceilings, including DAMPA® Climate Ceiling and DAMPA® Bandraster. The solutions are installed throughout large parts of the building and contribute to both effective acoustic control and a comfortable indoor temperature.

As part of the ongoing renovation programme, an additional 550m² of DAMPA® Climate Ceiling has been installed in selected corridor areas. In these high-traffic zones, the solution was chosen to support a pleasant indoor environment in areas where many employees move through the building during the day.

The extension builds on the existing ceiling solutions that were already in place prior to the renovation. Today, the building features more than 2,000 m² of DAMPA® Climate Ceiling and 3,500 m² of DAMPA® Bandraster in total, creating a consistent ceiling concept across all floors.

DAMPA® Climate Ceiling regulates temperature through low-frequency radiant heating and cooling, where warmth and cooling are emitted via the ceiling surface rather than through air circulation. This ensures a stable indoor climate without draughts and with minimal air movement. At the same time, the ceiling’s acoustic properties help reduce noise levels, making the solution well suited for office environments that combine workspaces with shared circulation areas.
