Function Meets Aesthetics at Danish Crown

The establishment of a new kitchen area at Danish Crown required a ceiling solution where colour and integration with technical installations were key. For this purpose, a DAMPA^® Clip-In Tile ceiling with a matte black finish was installed. As part of the project, a ceiling was also delivered for an adjacent butcher shop. Here, the DAMPA^® Clip-In Tile system is in burnished brass.

In the kitchen, ventilation plays a crucial role. The Clip-In ceiling is therefore an ideal solution, as each tile can be easily demounted to provide access to installations above.

Along the window sections, the ceiling is higher than above the cooking islands. The solution was designed to accommodate these level differences, which were neatly integrated using a custom-made edge.

The matte black finish is an important element of the project, as it reduces reflections and glare. This is particularly beneficial in an environment where photo and video recordings may occasionally take place.

With the DAMPA^® Clip-In Tile system, the kitchen achieved a ceiling solution that supports technical installations while creating a uniform expression across the entire space.
