DAMPA in the certified building

At DAMPA, we continuously work to improve the sustainability of our products and solutions. Steel and aluminium are resource-intensive materials to extract, but they also offer valuable properties, including durability and the ability to be recycled repeatedly without loss of quality.

To ensure full transparency regarding the environmental impact of choosing a DAMPA solution, all of our products are covered by Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).

Our EPDs can be used for building certifications such as LEED, BREEAM, and DGNB, and they make it easy to compare the environmental performance of different products.

Please note that various raw material options such as 75% Post-Consumer Aluminium and SSAB ZeroTM steel are available. The choice of raw material can influence the environmental impact of the solution.

Our published EPDs are based on our standard material. If you want to learn more about alternative materials, feel free to contact us for further information.

What is an EPD?

An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is a third-party verified document that reports the environmental impact of a product throughout its lifecycle. This enables customers to make informed decisions regarding the environmental footprint of their projects. All our EPDs are developed in accordance with the international standard EN 15804.

EPDs serve as a valuable tool during the planning and specification phase and can also be used as documentation for green building certifications such as BREEAM, LEED, and DGNB.

Furthermore, EPDs allow for the comparison of environmental performance across different product options.
