Regional Hospital Gødstrup

In this project, DAMPA supplied ceilings for the hospital’s large foyer, which connects several departments, including the pharmacy, somatics, radiotherapy clinic, and neurology, where DAMPA also provided ceiling solutions.

Healing architecture focusing on well-being
The hospital’s architecture is based on principles of healing architecture, where the physical environment supports patient recovery and promotes well-being. The design prioritises materials with natural and tactile properties, creating a warm and homely atmosphere that stands in contrast to traditional clinical hospital design.

In the foyer, we have delivered over 7,000 running metres of DAMPA® Lamella in a matte black finish. The lamellas complement the foyer’s natural materials and create an elegant, linear expression with their tall and narrow format. Combined with the matte, dark surface, they establish a stylish and atmospheric environment throughout the long foyer.

Hygienic ceilings for areas with strict sanitary requirements
For the pharmacy and radiotherapy clinic, where higher hygiene standards are required, we delivered perforated and non-perforated DAMPA® Clip-In Tiles. The tiles enhance the indoor climate through improved acoustics and ensure easy cleaning with the metal surfaces.

For the somatics and neurology departments, we delivered long DAMPA® Hook-On Tiles measuring 400×1800 mm. These perforated tiles in white with a black acoustic felt provide a subtle contrast, adding visual depth to the ceiling design while maintaining a discreet and sophisticated appearance.
