DIAS at the University of Southern Denmark is an interdisciplinary research hub. Here, some of the world’s most talented researchers gather to create new knowledge across academic fields. The building is a landmark on the Odense campus, where researchers, students, and guests meet in inspiring surroundings.

Focus on acoustics and functional solutions
For DIAS, DAMPA delivered more than 2,200 m² of DAMPA® Clip-In Tiles and over 230 m² of DAMPA® Clip-In Custom Tiles. DAMPA® Lamella were also installed in the auditorium. This ensures an optimal balance of aesthetics and acoustics in a space with strict requirements for sound quality.

The DAMPA® Clip-In solution provides a clean and uniform expression that supports the architecture. At the same time, it is highly functional. The ceilings can be removed individually, offering easy access to technical installations. Under the walkways, a DAMPA® Clip-In Custom solution in special dimensions has been installed. This combines functionality with a coherent and elegant design. In the auditorium, DAMPA® Lamella creates a stylish and distinctive atmosphere. It also ensures the right acoustic conditions for both lectures and events.

Calm design in harmony with the architecture
The building was designed by Creo Arkitekter with a focus on open, bright, and flexible spaces for research. DAMPA’s metal ceilings support this vision by adding clean lines and calm surfaces that harmonize with the modern architecture. The combination of design and acoustic properties creates an inspiring environment. It allows researchers to immerse themselves and exchange ideas across disciplines.
