It all began in 1951 in a small district just outside Odense. This is where the first perforated acoustic panels were produced, laying the foundation for what we today know as DAMPA.
Back then, we were a small local company. Today, 75 years later, DAMPA is an international business with ceiling solutions for projects around the world – from office buildings and public spaces to ships sailing across the world’s oceans.
Much has changed since those early days. Materials, technologies and requirements have evolved significantly, continuously shaping our direction.
But one thing has remained constant: the ambition to develop solutions that make a difference to the indoor climate.
With architectural and innovative solutions, both on land and at sea, we have contributed to creating spaces where functionality, aesthetics and durability go hand in hand.
It is a journey we are proud of. And one that has only been possible thanks to dedicated employees, trusted partners and customers who have placed their confidence in us across generations.

75 years is a milestone we want to celebrate together with those who are part of DAMPA today.
Throughout the year, we will mark the occasion with a range of activities and events. The celebrations will span across our key segments – bringing together partners within both construction and marine, as well as our local network and friends of the company.
It will be an opportunity to connect, share experiences, reflect on the journey – and look ahead to what comes next.
Over the coming months, we will gradually reveal more about our anniversary activities and events, including the release of a book on DAMPAs history and the relaunch of a former product in a new interpretation.
