About the ferry

Express 5 is a large fast ferry with room for 1,610 passengers and 451 cars. Currently, it sails tourists and residents back and forth between Ystad and Bornholm.

Not only is the fast ferry one of the largest but Express 5 is also designed and optimized with a focus on comfort and effectiveness, which means that nothing is left to chance when choosing the right material and equipment for Express 5.

About the DAMPA solution

We have supplied Express 5 with approximately 2,400m² worth of DAMPA^® Clip-In Tiles in the size 600mm x 600mm.

The tiles used are created with bevelled edges creating a uniform surface with attention on the quadratic shapes by highlighting the joints between each tile.

While a calm and neutral expression has been chosen in this project, the DAMPA^® Clip-In Tiles offer the opportunity to create individual designs, where only the sky is the limit.
