About the ship
Measuring 316 metres in length, the TUI cruise ship Mein Schiff 7 accommodates up to 2,896 passengers and features 12 restaurants and bistros alongside 17 bars and lounges. Designed with a modern interior expression, the vessel combines large public spaces with a variety of dining and entertainment experiences across the ship.

About the DAMPA solution
For the cruise ship, DAMPA supplied more than 2,100 m² of ceiling solutions across selected public areas onboard.

Several dining and lounge areas feature DAMPA® Clip-In Tiles, creating clean ceiling surfaces that integrate naturally into the interiors. In Atlantik Classic Restaurant and Atlantik Mediterranean Restaurant, the DAMPA® Clip-In Tiles contribute to the elegant restaurant environments while providing better acoustics in the large dining spaces.

DAMPA® Clip-In Tiles have also been installed in Schau Bar, where the streamlined ceiling design complements the modern bar and entertainment area.

In Fish Market Restaurant, DAMPA supplied both DAMPA® Clip-In Tiles and a custom-designed interval solution consisting of curved panels shaped in flowing wave formations across the ceiling. The special installation creates a modern ceiling expression that adds character to the restaurant interior.

In addition, DAMPA® DCC 308 were installed in selected areas onboard, contributing to a refined ceiling appearance with discreet joints suited for marine environments.

Together, the various ceiling solutions support the ship’s modern interior while balancing acoustics, fire safety, and aesthetics throughout the public spaces.
