Flexible Design and Circular Material in Acoustic Panels

Easily optimize acoustics with DAMPA® Silent Board, our acoustic wall panels made from flexible and circular materials.

With over 70 years of experience in acoustic solutions, DAMPA’s wall panels are a robust, recyclable, and aesthetically pleasing design element. What started in 1951 as DÆMPA is now the international DAMPA, but the purpose remains the same: to create top-quality acoustic solutions.

“Ten years ago, there was also a focus on the acoustic environment. But today, we find both legal requirements and a much greater awareness that good acoustics significantly impact indoor climate and employee well-being and concentration,” says Mogens Kjærgaard, Product Manager at DAMPA, and continues:

“There is also a focus on making acoustic solutions aesthetically pleasing to look on while being durable.”

Form Follows Function

DAMPA® Silent Board is a flexible and modular wall panel in acoustic class A. It is a decorative acoustic regulation system mounted via a rail system directly on the wall. DAMPA® Silent Board improves acoustics in different types of rooms, regardless of their function.

Due to the properties of metals, DAMPA’s acoustic solutions are ideal for everything from businesses to hospitals, venues, and schools. Additionally, the products offer great design freedom due to their robust materials, allowing for a choice of dimensions, colours, expressions, and applications.

DAMPA operates under the maxim “Form Follows Function,” based on a flexible design philosophy embraced by all DAMPA products.

“DAMPA Silent Board can be designed to match everything from private homes to corporate headquarters, commercial spaces, and institutions. Moreover, they can also be used as notice boards due to the steel’s magnetic properties. We have thus created a highly versatile product that, with its acoustic class A rating, contributes to an optimized acoustic environment and customized design,” says Mogens Kjærgaard.
