Navy Vessels
- Naval shock tested ceiling solution
With more than 75 years of experience, DAMPA has supplied ceiling systems for naval
vessels worldwide, including aircraft carriers, frigates, destroyers and patrol vessels.
DAMPA ceiling systems are extensively tested and continuously developed to meet demanding naval requirements. They are tested in accordance with IMO/ISO regulatives and are B-0/A-15 or B-15/A-30 fire rated.
Furthermore, the DAMPA® DCC 300 ceiling system has successfully undergone naval shock testing in accordance with BV0230 / D5050-0623 (2017); Frigate, Float, Shock Zone II; Shock Class B.
The test demonstrates the ceiling system’s ability to withstand the severe shock loads defined by the applicable naval requirements. The test verifies that, even when subjected to these shock loads, the ceiling panels remain locally captive, without risk of loose ceiling components posing a hazard to the ship or personnel onboard.
