Another year has gone by, and we want to take the opportunity to wish all our partners, suppliers, and customers a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
For DAMPA, 2021 has been a year filled with new and unforeseen challenges: a declining and increasing pandemic, material shortages, sharp price increases on materials, bustle and cancellations of trade fairs and events. Fortunately, the year also offered good times, new products and exciting collaborations
In September we celebrated our 70 years anniversary. This happened together with customers, suppliers, business partners and all our colleagues. We would like to thank you all, who in one way or another celebrated this big milestone with us.
During our 70 years anniversary we presented a new look for DAMPA, as we launched our new logo and lookbook. Furthermore, we launched our new acoustic wall panels: DAMPA® Silent Board Flex, a graphic designed line of wall panels that plays with the experience of shape, light, and shadow.
With the autumn yet another product launched, this time in collaboration with Architect and Designer Lars Vejen, lighting consultants LIK Lighting and product developer Erik Padkjær. At a grandiose event in the start of November we could finally show of our new acoustic ceiling- and light solution DOT, which supports the natural rhythm of the body.
In the autumn it was finally time to gather at the trade fairs again. Start September we exhibited on Three Days of Design in Copenhagen together with Design Collaborations, LIK & Hirata Gen Design Collection. Our visitors were able to get the first sneak peek on our new ceiling solution DOT. Furthermore, in September we were also a part of the FSTA-fair (Danish fair for Forum for Hospital Technic and Architecture).
In December it was time to meet again with the marine community for the first time since the start of Covid-19. Together with Metalcolour we took a trip to London and showcased at Cruise Ship Interior Expo.
DAMPA is closed due to the Christmas holidays from December 23rd to January 2nd (both days included).
All in all, 2021 has been a fantastic year. Despite the challenges, the year has been filled with happy and joyful moments, and we are now looking forward to 2022.
