endless design possibilities and durable surface
Laminated surface on DAMPA ceilings are film-laminated. This technique uses film which is bonded to the sheet of steel or aluminum, making the surface scratch resistant and very durable.
The production of laminated ceilings is a state of the art process, and is done “the DAMPA way”, meaning that it takes the environment into consideration. One of many efforts is to reduce consumption of energy, and filter out more than 99% of solvents from the exhaust gases from the production process.
DAMPA is mainly using DOBEL laminates. The DOBEL laminates on DAMPA ceilings are Fire-classified and approved according to M.E.D. Europe through Bureau Veritas, BV and also several of the leading classification societies such as “Det Norske Veritas”, DNV; United States Coast Guard, USCG; and Lloyd’s Register of Shipping, LR has also approved the material. Copies of the relevant certificates are available on request.
When choosing a laminated surface, there is hardly any limit to colours, surface and designs. Create effects with imitated leather or wood as part of a theme. Furthermore, the laminated finish has no need for additional painting and lacquering once installed.
