DAMPA® Spring unites great flexibility, in architecture as well as maintenance, with excellent acoustics, in one sharp product. The flexibility is expressed in the opportunity for integration, as well as the many different usage options in the suspension system.
The Spring suspension system works, as the name implies, with the help of a spring, which is fastened to the desired ceiling unit. Afterwards the unit is secured in the suspension system, without the use of tools. The Spring system ensures a precise and safe installation every time. When demounting and re-installation the spring ensures that the unit is returned to its exact place.
The Spring suspension system is originally invented to carry the Spring tile. It is a Planostile tile, which is modified to the Spring suspension system. Planostile is a flexible tile design, because the tiles are produced in customized dimensions depending on what the architect wants. Apart from the flexibility in the dimensions of the tiles, it is easy to integrate lights, ventilation and sprinklers in the Spring system. The Spring tile is also compatible with diffuse ventilation, which is both a visually pleasing solution, because you avoid the use of ventilation fixtures, as well as a solution that will improve the indoor climate since you avoid both draft and noise nuisances.
The DMAPA® Spring ceiling can, in combination with polyester or wool batts, attain an acoustic class A. Perfect for both office and education environments.
The design options with the Spring suspension system are many. Apart from Planostile tiles, you can mount DAMPA® Spring frames, which can hold DAMPA® Interval, wooden panels or any other type of ceiling. The frames are produced, like the tiles, in customized dimensions.
The advantage of mounting intervals or wooden panels on these frames is the enormous operational flexibility you obtain. Instead of demounting each lamella individually, you have a ceiling consisting of modules that all work like ceiling hatches, in any size you want. This means that you get the same flexibility, in terms of mounting and demounting, as the Spring tile, but you don’t have to compromise on your preferred design. It is possible to lay polyester or wool batts in the frame, to obtain the great, desirable acoustic.
